DL Jones Roofing was appointed to resolve a complex roofing issue at a high-end residential property located in Beulah Walk, Woldingham. The home, with views overlooking a golf course, suffered from a poorly installed fibreglass flat roof system that was failing to meet structural or thermal performance standards. The client required a robust, long-lasting solution to replace the defective roofing and support existing solar infrastructure.

The Challenge

The existing fibreglass roof was installed on a timber substrate, but the workmanship was sub-par, resulting in persistent leaks, compromised insulation, and concerns about structural stability. The flat roof’s location and exposure meant any new system needed to offer outstanding weather resistance, energy efficiency, and compatibility with solar panels.

Our Solution

DL Jones Roofing proposed and delivered a full warm roof upgrade using the Bauder Bauderflex bitumen membrane system, renowned for its durability, high thermal performance, and weather resilience. We carried out a full strip-out of the failed roof, including the removal of the defective timber deck, and replaced it with a fully warrantied, Bauder-approved system.

Scope of Work Included:
