Project Overview
DL Jones Roofing Services was appointed by GLF Schools to carry out essential flat roof refurbishment works across a series of canopy structures at Warlingham Park School in Surrey. These canopies cover walkways and outdoor areas that are in daily use by students and staff – making a safe, watertight, and durable roofing solution a non-negotiable requirement. The project was delivered in an occupied, operational school environment with all safeguarding protocols in place throughout.

Scope of Work
We completed a full renewal of the flat roof areas using the Mapei Polyshield built-up felt system – a BBA-certified system designed for long-lasting performance in public and high-traffic environments.
Key Works Included:
- Removal and disposal of the existing roof coverings
- Substrate preparation and insulation upgrades (where needed)
- Full installation of the multi-layer Mapei Polyshield system
- Detailing at all abutments, columns, and drainage points
- All work carried out safely in occupied, operational school areas
